Downtown Seattle WA Sights & Attractions

A major attraction of the Pacific Northwest and a symbol of Seattle, the Space Needle was built for the 1962 World’s Fair.  The tower stands 184 meters high and features an observation deck, a gift shop and the rotating SkyCity restaurant.   The Best Western Executive Inn Seattle is just one short block away from Seattle’s most famous landmark.

Pike Place Market is one of Seattle's most popular tourist spots and is just steps from the Sixth Avenue Inn hotel.  The market originally opened in 1907 and is one of the oldest continually operating public farmer's market in the United States.  Today the market is an eclectic collection of stalls, shops and merchants offering everything from antiques, arts & crafts, fresh produce, exotic foods to restaurants.

Considered by many as Seattle's "town square", Westlake Center is a 4 story glass enclosed shopping center.  Westlake Centre offers many national retailers, local merchandise as well as a food court all housed within a high energy pavilion style environment.
